About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Services Manager to join our team at Claro Aged Care and Disability Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and continuously improving Supported Accommodation Services for people living with disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff across a small portfolio of accommodation sites to ensure the provision of high-quality direct care services for people with a disability and complex support needs.
  • Ensure clients' needs are being met and support workers are upholding their duties in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Coach staff, manage daily rosters, and maintain key relationships.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the allocated site, effectively manage people metrics, and respond to unplanned support call requests.
  • Identify and escalate disputes or complaints in a timely manner, successfully manage and close risk incidents, and liaise with the SDA property manager.
  • Complete monthly audits on fire drills, first aid kits, and WHS monthly auditing, and participate in internal and external audits.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' proven leadership experience in health, particularly client/case management, quality management, incident management, and resolution.
  • Knowledge of the changing environment in the disability/health sector.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills, exemplary customer service skills, and a willingness to take ownership and hold people accountable.
  • High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and data management systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, evidence of current work rights in Australia, and a current Australian Driver's license.
