This role requires strong leadership and the ability to build genuine relationships across diverse spaces.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in community engagement, partnerships or stakeholder management.
- Strong cultural authority and understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Experience leading co-designed programs or influencing organisational change.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building and communication skills, knowledge of trauma-informed, healing-centred or harm reduction approaches, and a collaborative mindset.
About You
You will bring a commitment to Wayside's mission of creating community with no 'us and them', as well as relevant qualifications in community development, social work, public health or similar.
Key responsibilities include building and nurturing long-term partnerships rooted in trust, reciprocity and shared impact, and championing the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices across governance, service design and evaluation.
