About the Role:

A prestigious Financial Services provider is seeking a skilled Network Connectivity Support Specialist to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in networking, TCP/IP, BGP, and ITSM, with experience in monitoring and responding to alerts, troubleshooting network access issues, and installing/configuring network devices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to network alerts in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot network access issues and resolve problems efficiently
• Install, configure, and test new network devices
• Update patches and deliver new services for clients

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications with relevant industry certifications (e.g. CCNA)
• Proven experience working in a Network Administration/Field Services capacity
• Solid background in networking, with understanding of various network protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Previous experience working in a data centre environment and/or visiting client sites
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP
• Understanding of ITSM
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, combined with strong communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
