Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development, automation, integration, and system testing of biosecurity systems
  • Deliver projects based on departmental priorities, leveraging expertise in detection capabilities
  • Lead validation testing of algorithms and 3D x-ray user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration
  • Support and guide staff in the effective use of 3D x-ray technology, driving process improvements
  • Coordinate and undertake on-call arrangements to support 24/7 operations, fostering a culture of collaboration

Requirements:

  • Experience in biosecurity operations in airport and/or mail environments, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency
  • Expertise in 2D and/or 3D x-ray units, with a focus on image analysis and interpretation
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster and work outside standard hours, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Willingness to wear official uniforms and personal protective equipment, prioritizing safety and security
