Remote Healthcare Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Healthcare Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality virtual consultations and patient assessments to individuals across Australia.

Job Description:

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner at our organisation, you will provide virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations. You will also provide prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans, as well as reviewing structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual consultations and patient assessmentsProvide high-quality care and support to patientsReview and update patient recordsCommunicate effectively with patients and colleagues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services
  • Proficiency with digital patient management software (telehealth experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively
