Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Security Program Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of ongoing programs of work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and technology trends, as well as experience working closely in partnership with security specialists.

They will be responsible for fostering a single team mindset, anticipating and removing inhibitors to progress, and fully participating in technology leadership to contribute to a broader capacity uplift across the department.

Additionally, they will define team objectives in partnership with the Head of Security and the broader Security leadership team, improve the wellbeing of teams by fostering psychological safety, inclusivity and diversity, and strategise, design and deliver a backlog of initiatives based on the existing Security Program roadmap.

The successful candidate will also manage capacity and team culture, build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, stakeholders and integration teams to ensure delivery is smooth, make and communicate great decisions that balance commercial, strategic, risk, technology, team engagement and stakeholders, and manage budgets, commercials and 3rd parties such that Finance report that obligations are completed on time.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a security-focused organization.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of information security and technology trends and issues
  • Sound knowledge of how information security and information technology contribute to business performance
  • Experience working closely in partnership with security specialists
  • Experience with program management or project management, with the ability to manage several initiatives concurrently
  • Strong stakeholder management, planning, organisation, decision making and time management skills
  • High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change
