Job Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator role combines corporate driving duties with warehouse and packaging operations, ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods while maintaining full compliance with company processes, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles safely for the transport of goods, adhering to road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage warehouse and packaging operations, including temperature-sensitive shipments and handling responsibilities.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness, both interior and exterior.

Warehouse Operations:

  • Maintain and present warehouse areas to professional standards, including packaging and inventory management.
  • Support ad-hoc packaging orders with accuracy and timeliness, managing stock levels and reporting discrepancies.

Temperature-Controlled Packaging:

  • Prepare and condition Phase Change Materials / gel packs in line with preconditioning plans.
  • Set up cocoons and pallet shippers as per shipment requirements, ensuring correct load securing and handling standards.

Systems & Software:

  • Process packaging job bookings in logistics systems and manage inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Configure and monitor temperature devices using approved software, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Shipment Handling & Compliance:

  • Ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment during packaging, handling, and driving activities, adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Current and valid driver's license (appropriate class for vehicles operated).
  • Proven experience as a professional driver in logistics or corporate environment, with knowledge of temperature-sensitive packaging requirements.
  • Experience in warehouse, packaging, or cold-chain operations is highly desirable, along with proficiency in logistics systems and warehouse software.
