
Compliance Specialist Position

- You will be responsible for conducting risk and compliance monitoring regularly, including client entity reviews, transaction monitoring, processing & clearance of suspicious hits, and thematic reviews.
- Additionally, you will provide independent, sound risk & compliance advice and support on client acceptance based on company and group policies, as well as local legislation, rules, and industry practices.
- Liaising with local regulators is also an essential aspect of this role.
- Further, you will conduct risk & compliance investigations related to incidents, complaints, or administrative issues as required.
- Other responsibilities include preparing relevant risk & compliance management reports and information.
- Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience.
- Solid experience managing risk & compliance frameworks according to regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Preferably experienced in trust, corporate, fund administration services, or the financial industry.
- Sound knowledge of local regulations in Australia and New Zealand, including AML qualifications (ACAMS or equivalent).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Independent, meticulous, proactive, attentive to detail, self-motivated, communicative, eager to learn, and capable of handling new challenges.
