Job Title: Compliance ExpertAs a Compliance Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization operates within the boundaries of relevant legal, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • You will be responsible for conducting risk and compliance monitoring regularly, including client entity reviews, transaction monitoring, processing & clearance of suspicious hits, and thematic reviews.
  • Additionally, you will provide independent, sound risk & compliance advice and support on client acceptance based on company and group policies, as well as local legislation, rules, and industry practices.
  • Liaising with local regulators is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • Further, you will conduct risk & compliance investigations related to incidents, complaints, or administrative issues as required.
  • Other responsibilities include preparing relevant risk & compliance management reports and information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience.
  • Solid experience managing risk & compliance frameworks according to regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Preferably experienced in trust, corporate, fund administration services, or the financial industry.
  • Sound knowledge of local regulations in Australia and New Zealand, including AML qualifications (ACAMS or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Independent, meticulous, proactive, attentive to detail, self-motivated, communicative, eager to learn, and capable of handling new challenges.
