Neonatal Ultrasound Specialist Fellow

We are seeking experienced Neonatal Fellows to join our team in Newborn Services at a prominent hospital. This 12-month position offers a unique opportunity to develop and advance skills in the care of critically ill newborns.
About the RoleThe successful applicants will have at least 12 months of experience in a level 6 neonatal intensive care unit. They will receive comprehensive training in neonatal point-of-care ultrasound, integrating information gained from this modality into clinical practice, and developing expertise in research.
Training Opportunities- Undertake extensive training in neonatal cardiac, cranial, abdominal, and lung ultrasound under accredited supervisors.
- Develop advanced knowledge in integrating POCUS into clinical decision-making.
- Enhance research skills, particularly in neonatal POCUS.
- Participate in multidisciplinary follow-up clinics for newborn patients.
- Benefit from a collaborative service environment with Paediatric subspecialists, including Cardiology, Neurology, and Radiology.
