The Systems Engineering team seeks a freelance Documentation Specialist to create clear, accurate technical documentation for industrial robotics systems. You will work closely with engineers to develop user-centric content.
This role is based at our Brisbane headquarters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain various technical documents, including installation manuals, standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, training materials, and troubleshooting knowledge base content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information.
- Communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Incorporate technical illustrations, diagrams, and photographs into documentation.
- Review and edit technical content for accuracy, consistency, and readability.
- Previous experience in technical writing, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or robotics-related environments.
- Completion of at least one course or certification in basic electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and other technical assets.
- Ability to maintain an organized system while balancing multiple documentation projects.
