Key Account Development Specialist

About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to expand our client base and build strong relationships with mechanical and electrical consultants, engineers, and contractors.

This role will encompass various tasks, including providing technical sales support, leading pre-tender negotiations, and managing contracts while ensuring timely delivery of projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders to promote our unique range of products and services, ensuring that customer requirements are met with the highest standards of service. You will utilise your mechanical and electrical expertise to deliver tailored solutions across diverse industries.

  • Identify new customers and nurture existing relationships to expand our client base.
  • Provide technical sales support and advice in various industries.
  • Lead pre-tender/tender negotiations and manage contracts, project timelines, and budgets.
  • Offer hands-on commissioning and technical support during projects.

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of experience in a sales engineer role.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • High level of mechanical and electrical experience and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales engineering, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
