Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to promote optimal recovery and return to work.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to identify client needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure successful return to work outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research to continuously improve rehabilitation services and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA).
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
