Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader in Theological Disciplines to join our team at Reformed Theological Seminary. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in historical and systematic theology, as well as conducting research and publishing scholarly articles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in historical and systematic theology, including courses on the doctrines of Scripture and the history of the Church.
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles on topics related to historical and systematic theology.
  • Provide academic and spiritual leadership to students, including guidance on research projects and academic writing.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum and academic programs.
  • Engage in pastoral oversight and provide spiritual guidance to students.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Theology or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students in theological disciplines.
  • Strong research and publication record in historical and systematic theology.
  • Ability to provide academic and spiritual leadership to students.
  • Commitment to the Reformed faith and the confessional standards of the Presbyterian Church of Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pastoral ministry or leadership.
  • Ability to conduct worship services and provide spiritual guidance to students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
