RMIT University seeks a talented academic to join its School of Health and Biomedical Sciences as a Pharmaceutical Sciences Academic Leader.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the teaching and research growth within the Pharmaceutical Sciences Discipline, working collaboratively with fellow academics to develop and deliver high-quality programs and research initiatives.

As a Pharmaceutical Sciences Academic Leader, you will be responsible for teaching and coordinating undergraduate and Honours degree programs, as well as maintaining and advancing your scholarly, research, and professional capabilities. You will also be expected to promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links, and partnerships with academic, industry, and professional communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and coordinating undergraduate and Honours degree programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Maintaining and advancing scholarly, research, and professional capabilities
  • Promoting the program through establishing and maintaining memberships, links, and partnerships with academic, industry, and professional communities
  • Working collaboratively with fellow academics to develop and deliver high-quality programs and research initiatives

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent in a field relevant to Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences courses and programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, with specialist knowledge in one or more areas: clinical research, ethics and governance, regulatory affairs
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and industry, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package at Academic Level B ($110,868 - $131,659) or Level C ($135,814 - $156,608) + 17% Super, dependent on qualifications and experience.
