Job Title: Patient Transport Officer

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced transport officer to join our team. As a patient transport officer, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to patients within the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Transfer patients from one location to another, including hospitals, medical appointments, and private residences.
  • Transport staff and deliver items as requested.
  • Maintain vehicles and plan and arrange maintenance as necessary.
  • Ensure that all patients are treated with dignity and respect.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current NSW driver's license Class C, a current Apply First Aid certificate, and demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be physically capable of transferring patients and able to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.
