Life Changing Addiction Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Recovery Coach to join our team at Odyssey House NSW.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized recovery plans in consultation with stakeholders.
- Liaise with external agencies to provide comprehensive support services for clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community groups to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative programs and services that meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in addiction recovery and related fields.
Requirements:
- Rlevant VET qualification (e.g., AOD/Counselling/Community welfare)
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable)
- Experience using NCFAS G+ R Assessment (desirable)
- Triple P Practitioner (Group level) certification (desirable)
- Circle of security Facilitator certification (desirable)
