About This Opportunity

This is an exciting role within a multi-disciplinary team delivering community drug health and addiction recovery services.

As a Drug & Alcohol Clinician, you will be part of a dynamic team providing evidence-based clinical services to clients referred to the Centre for Addiction Medicine or other sites within Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).

You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to support recovery and health outcomes for individuals affected by substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intake, assessment, treatment planning, case management, counselling, group work, and health promotion services to clients.
  • Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care following harm reduction principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or a related field or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with drug and alcohol clients.
