Job Title: Community Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Community Recovery Specialist. This is a full-time, fixed-term role based in Hornsby that may require occasional travel or work at other locations.

In this position, you will conduct assessments and have opportunities to facilitate educational and support groups. You will also provide face-to-face and online counseling services, making referrals to other services as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Care coordination and development of programs focused on addiction recovery and social emotional support for clients in recovery.
  • Evaluation and review of client treatment plans, maintaining accurate records and providing integrated services with other agencies and support services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant VET qualification.
  • Significant experience supporting individuals with addiction and mental health needs.
  • Experience in group facilitation and program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment to deliver coordinated support.
