Global Logistics Specialist Role

This role involves overseeing the management and coordination of urgent cargo transportation across a diverse range of commodities, serving all our global industrial verticals and beyond.

The primary mode of transport will be airfreight, often requiring seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions.

In this fast-paced environment, the specialist must ensure timely quotation, pick up, delivery and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction, requiring a deep understanding of global logistics, airfreight operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored transportation solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure seamless execution of time-critical airfreight shipments, from initial booking to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and client specifications.
  • Continuously track the status of all active shipments to provide real-time updates as well as proactively identify upcoming issues during the transport chain and execute corrective actions to ensure safe and timely delivery of the cargo.
  • Act as the primary point of contact towards the customers.
  • Prepare and verify all necessary shipping documents, including airway bills and documents provided by the customer.
  • Closely collaborate with countries and branches.
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled & experienced in airfreight operations.
  • Strong understanding in logistics, pricing structures and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Able to resolve issues and challenges quickly and efficiently, maintaining operational integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Exhibits a high level of self-motivation, taking initiative to meet and exceed job expectations without constant supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Willing and able to work in shifts over the weekend.
