**Job Description**: As a Supplier Relations Manager, you will have a diverse and challenging role. Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all supplier programs and relationships - providing high levels of service at all times.
  • Collaboration with divisional leaders to develop and implement preferred supplier programs and policies, meeting business needs and delivering financial outcomes.
  • Development of global and local preferred supplier programs, implementing quality control measures as necessary.
  • Management of the Request for Pricing (RFP) process, including distribution and loading of supplier rate updates to relevant systems.
  • Liaison on vendor and RFP queries, problem-solving, and communication with staff and suppliers when required.
  • Support for increasing value-added benefits for clients, such as upgrades.
  • Analysis of hotel and airline statistics, providing reports to divisional managers.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date hotel information on relevant database systems.
  • Development of excellent working relationships with hoteliers and other suppliers, attending industry events to maintain our profile.
  • Organization of complimentary accommodations and meeting rooms for staff, adhering to marketing funds/agreements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Codification of staff attendance to in-house supplier training sessions, presentations, FAM trips, and supplier functions.
  • Site visits, in-house supplier training sessions, meetings, and supplier functions as required.
  • Fulfillment of departmental procedures to ensure timely and structured resolution of supplier-related matters.
  • Coordination with other departments to ensure back-office systems operate smoothly regarding suppliers.
