About the Position

RMIT University is a leading provider of applied marketing education and research, with a strong focus on industry impact. The Marketing Department is seeking a number of passionate marketing academics to join our team, contributing to the delivery of Marketing programs and actively involved in research, consulting, and other professional activities.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Marketing and a demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online delivery. They will also have a strong track record of quality research outputs, including publications, competitive research funding, and industry links.

The Lecturer will be responsible for course coordination, supervision of higher degree by research candidates, and building effective networks with colleagues and generating alternative funding projects through liaison with industry and government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and research in Marketing
  • Contribute to the development of Marketing programs and courses
  • Supervise higher degree by research candidates

  • Generate alternative funding projects through liaison with industry and government

Requirements:

  • PhD in Marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
