Economist Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Economics to join our team at RMIT University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics and a passion for teaching and research.

• Teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate programs in economics, including online delivery.
• Conduct research and publish in high-quality outlets.
• Supervise higher degree by research candidates.
• Develop and manage academic programs, including curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Contribute to the School's research, engagement, and teaching programs.

• PhD in Economics (completed or expected in 2025).
• Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality curriculum and program materials.
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with students and negotiate sensitively on issues related to effective learning.
• Ability to produce internationally recognised research with outputs publishing in high-quality outlets.
• Ability to develop new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
