Job Summary:

RMIT University is seeking a highly qualified Marketing Lecturer to join its Marketing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Marketing courses, conducting research in Marketing, and engaging with industry stakeholders.

About the Role:

The Marketing Department is a leading provider of applied Marketing education and research, with a strong focus on industry impact. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Marketing, a strong research profile, and the ability to prepare and deliver Marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Marketing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Conduct research in Marketing, with a focus on industry-relevant transformative consumer and brand research
  • Engage with industry stakeholders, including through consulting and other professional activities
  • Contribute to the supervision of higher degree by research candidates
  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and course materials
  • Build effective networks with colleagues and industry stakeholders
Requirements:
  • PhD in Marketing
  • Strong research profile, with a focus on industry-relevant transformative consumer and brand research
  • Ability to prepare and deliver Marketing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration
