Job Title: Rural Health Academic

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to take on a part-time (0.6 FTE) role within our rural health education and training framework.

About You
  • A registered Speech Pathologist with eligibility for registration in Australia
  • Proven experience working as a clinician in various settings, including gerontology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

As an advocate for rural health education, you will be responsible for supporting student placement activities and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care to residents and clients. You will also contribute to the design, development, and delivery of interprofessional education for undergraduate students undertaking placements within the Port Lincoln region.
