Job Overview

This role involves supervising a warehouse environment, overseeing the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the warehouse manager in any additional duties they require
  • Organise freight/3PL arrangements in partnership with courier programs
  • Stock management/control systems
  • Replenishment of stock in warehouse and medical rooms
  • Inwards goods areas, receipting and checking stock, loading into IT systems
  • Picking and checking accuracy of minimum 98%
  • Liaise with carriers to co-ordinate inwards goods
  • Safe and effective use of forklift in a shared space (outside and in the warehouse)
  • Meeting all safety training and OHS standards for using a forklift in a shared space
  • Accurately managing inwards goods and warehouse storage processes
  • Accurately receipting inwards goods into computer system
  • Correct interchange of paperwork with HO to ensure timely processing of customer orders
  • Where required, co-ordinating with local mechanics for vehicle maintenance / servicing
  • Generating and completing periodic stock takes as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse, office, kitchen, toilet areas
  • Assisting with cleaning of company vehicle both inside and out when required. Cleanliness is paramount
  • Where required, responsible for security & controlling unauthorised access to building
  • Where required, use of company cards (debit and Bunnings cards) for local purchases (as per guidelines)
  • Being a primary/secondary contact for the site in the absence of the warehouse manager

Working Environment

This role will be based in a warehouse environment where you will work closely with a team to manage and maintain the smooth operation of the facility.

Requirements

  • Full current VIC driver's licence
  • A good understanding of the Victorian local and regional road networks
  • Physically fit and able to lift cartons regularly
  • Forklift Licence (required)

Work Schedule

8 hour shift, day shift, morning shift
