Job Role Overview

Desktop Support Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Desktop Support Engineer within our organisation. The role involves providing first-line technical support to end users across Windows and Mac systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware and software devices.
  2. Maintain a detailed asset management record database and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  4. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting Windows and macOS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and JAMF.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience with Office 365, network troubleshooting, and VPN support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications such as MCSA or CCNA are highly valued within the industry.
