Cyber Security Operations

This role plays a pivotal part in protecting, detecting and responding to cyber security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse, review and respond to security alerts and incidents.
  • Support, configure and maintain all security detection and prevention technologies deployed throughout the enterprise.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, general security initiatives and risk assessments to enhance the state of security.
  • Regular interaction with vendors and security partners.

In addition to these responsibilities, this role involves:

  • Embracing a culture of continuous improvement and providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to other analysts.
  • Maintaining continuous compliance with policies, standards and best practices.
  • Validating and maintaining incident response plans and run books.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a Cyber Security Operations Centre.
  • Experience in managing and deploying security technologies such as Endpoint Security, Web and Mail Filtering, SIEM platforms etc.
  • Experience in working with cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
  • A self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative, garner consensus and develop an effective strategy.
  • Demonstrates high analytical rigor in formulating strategies, objectives and measuring results.

We are seeking someone who is willing to challenge and question existing approaches, making recommendations for best solutions. Understanding of cyber security control frameworks and standards including NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27000 series, ASD etc is essential.

This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, and relevant studies or Bachelor's Degree such as CEH, GSEC, GCIH, GCFA are highly desirable.
