
Area Business Development Leader

As an Area Business Development Leader, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth and success in your region. Our company operates a network of stores, trade centers, and online platforms, catering to both consumer and commercial customers.
We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team, who can develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and strengthen our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the building industry, excellent leadership and coaching skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-performing sales teams to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profit and strengthen sales across the whole build lifecycle.
- Drive sales through our network of stores, trade centers, and online platforms.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business.
- Develop and execute strategies to address local market opportunities and combat competitor activities.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the organization to ensure our customers receive the best Price, Range, and Experience.
- Rationalize supply chain solutions for customers and demonstrate a personal commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the building industry and related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Commercial & Project Builders.
- Proven success in leading sales teams and coaching individuals.
- Excellent commercial acumen, customer focus, and IT literacy.
- Ability to work on large, complex projects and adapt to changing circumstances.
