About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Australia Post. As a trusted adviser to our operational stakeholders and senior management, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to enable informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial insight into operational activities and analysis of results
  • Input to the development of business cases as required
  • Full accountability for reporting, planning and forecasting for SA/NT & WA Network Operations
  • Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Track and report on business initiatives and their associated benefits
  • Apply analytical skills and commercial judgement to challenge and influence business decisions
  • Identify, analyse, and report opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost management
  • Facilitate the development of projects/processes to enable the achievement of productivity and performance improvement across the Delivery Network
  • Review, evaluate and provide advice on business cases and investment proposals

About You:

  • Membership to an Accounting professional accreditation (CA/CPA)
  • Great understanding of the e Commerce market and industry knowledge such as logistics and supply chain operations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide proactive Finance Business Partnering services
  • Experience with financial systems in a large organisation, including strong PC skills (particularly Microsoft Excel) and data extraction from SAP, Tableau or other data analysis software/systems
