Operational Risk Management Specialist

FourQuarters Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Analyst to join our team. As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting with the review, management, and completion of Operational Risk matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the review and management of Operational Risk matters, including internal and external audits, HOP and IOP implementation, and monitoring.
- Support the Senior Manager, RCD, in related analysis, reporting, planning, and management of Operational Risk matters.
- Provide independent assurance within the RCD Department.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships in relation to Operational Risk matters.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of internal audit, operational risk, banking business, and procedures.
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting to key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with APRA Prudential Standards and respond to internal and external audits.
- Maintain open communication to ensure targeted reviews progress and are successfully completed.
- Clear prioritization and focus on supporting the strengthening of internal operational risk control function.
- Previous experience in Internal Audit within Banking.
- Strong understanding of Australian Prudential requirements, financial markets environment, and products.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in workflow systems.
