Lead R&D Chemist and/or Product Manager

A leading organization in the metal working fluids sector is seeking an exceptional R&D Chemist and/or Product Manager to spearhead their technical program.

This exciting opportunity allows candidates worldwide to apply, with flexible base locations in Australia or Southeast Asia.

  • Candidates should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a proven track record in product development of metal working fluids/cutting lubricants.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with clients to formulate products specific to their requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in chemistry or applied science are essential.

The ideal candidate will have high energy levels, good communication skills, and natural leadership abilities, with 100% commitment to the role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating new products, setting quality specifications, and providing manufacturing support. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing Metal Working Fluids to meet current and future market demands in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.
  2. Engaging in regular client contact to understand market needs intimately.
  3. Continuously reviewing the product offering to meet market and commercial demands.

This dynamic role offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for growth and professional development. The ideal candidate will be required to travel one week per month (on average).
