Job Title: R&D Laboratory Technician

This is a part-time role for a 12-month fixed-term duration. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the research and development team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the R&D Centre.

  • Manage various labs and storage areas, including the Creation Lab, Packaging Lab, Transport Testing Lab, Pilot Plant, and more.">

The R&D Laboratory Technician will provide lab support for product development, including batch preparation and pilot plant runs. They will also manage scheduling of Pilot Plant use, execute analytical calibrations, and maintain hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

R&D Centre Management:

Product Development Support:

  • Manage invoices, liaise with external suppliers, order stationery, and support procurement processes.">
Raw Materials and Consumables:

  • Maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, gas supplies, and chemicals.">
Health, Safety & Wellbeing:

  • Review activities for safety, identify hazards, and report incidents.">
Compliance:

  • Operate in accordance with policies and procedures.">

About You:

Qualification in Food Technology or similar lab experience, especially within FMCG, is ideal. Strong communication skills, relationship building skills, and multi-tasking ability are essential.
