The primary responsibility of the Registered Midwife is to provide high-quality midwifery care to patients/clients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key duties include:
- Coordinating and delivering midwifery care to patients/clients in a hospital setting
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient-centered care
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients/clients
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient/client care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the relevant governing body
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using health information systems
