Ecological Leadership Role

As a Principal Ecologist, you will spearhead our ecological initiatives and provide technical expertise to guide projects from inception to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative and challenging ecological projects across various sectors.

This role involves leading field and office-based activities, including the delivery of field survey programs on complex and remote sites. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, government agencies, and fellow team members. Furthermore, you will contribute to the growth and success of our consultancy firm by identifying new business opportunities and implementing the growth strategy for the ecology workstream in NSW.

  • Lead and manage teams to deliver ecological projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies.
Key Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant ecological experience.
  • Qualification in ecology, environmental science, zoology, botany, or a related discipline.
  • Accreditation under the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of legislation, regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including project management and team coordination.
