Trade Assistant

At our manufacturing facility, we design and produce heavy earthmoving equipment and truck bodies. We are currently seeking two Casual Trades Assistants to join our team.

This role requires a motivated individual with practical abilities, who is punctual and reliable. One position will be based in our spray-painting workshop, while the other will be in our fabrication/welding workshop.

As a Trade Assistant, you will provide support to our workshop teams by maintaining clean and orderly work areas, assisting with general projects including drilling, grinding, sanding, and spray painting, receiving and organizing materials and parts, and undertaking any additional tasks as required.

  • Able to give your best effort each day and have a motivated outlook
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Ability to assess daily tasks and plan accordingly
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas across Manufacturing & Painting Departments
  • Assist with various projects involving drilling, grinding, sanding, and spray painting
  • Receive and organize materials and parts
  • Training will be provided where necessary
