Job Title:

Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description:

  • Develop and document all production processes and activities, including welding, assembly, and lining.
  • Maintain the Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) and ensure accurate material allocation to relevant teams using the MRP System.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define assembly lines and implement manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing process definition, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Operations during production ramp-up, commissioning facilities, and implementing assembly processes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in Lean and process improvement manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP, to create PBOMs, routings, standard networks, etc.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Root Cause Analysis, including Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
