MRI Team Leader

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). As a seasoned technologist with a strong background in leadership, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and assisting in service development and strategic planning.

About the Role

As the ideal candidate, you will provide operational oversight, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal equipment use and high-quality patient care. You will work closely with radiologists and clinical teams to drive growth, innovation and clinical excellence of MRI services across the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and supervise staff members to ensure effective teamwork and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies for quality improvement and service development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging or related field with current AHPRA registration.
  • At least 5 years experience as a senior MRI technologist with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MRI techniques, safety protocols and technology.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
