Lead Visual Content Producer

As a highly skilled visual content producer, you will lead a team of photographers in creating premium content across all platforms. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of what makes an image stand out will drive our visual storytelling.

The successful candidate will source and create compelling images and video that resonate with our audience, while working closely with the Vision Editor to deliver high-quality content under deadline pressure. You will also be responsible for coordinating a team of in-house and freelance photographers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and source engaging images and video content that meets business outcomes and reader expectations
  • Deliver relevant and high-quality content that engages subscribers and attracts new readers
  • Work collaboratively with the Vision Editor to meet project deadlines
  • Coordinate and manage a team of photographers to produce premium content

Requirements:

  • Strong news judgement and vision skills, with experience in digital storytelling and people management
  • Photo editing skills in a publication or news setting, with the ability to project plan and anticipate visual and online needs
  • Thrives on meeting business outcomes and reader expectations, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality content
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, while maintaining a collaborative environment
