Roofer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Professional to install, maintain, and repair various roofing materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and repairing roofing materials (tile/shingle, metal, Colourbond, fibreglass, tar)
  • Reading and interpreting plans
  • Applying waterproofing membranes
  • Cementing ridge capping and installing pointing to ridge capping
  • Erecting scaffolds and roof rails
  • Installing and cementing verge tiles to roofs
  • Installing flashings to roof penetrations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise work, completing tasks within set timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations

The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing techniques, time management, and trade qualification. We offer above award wages, a ute & fuel card for work use, accommodation paid for in the initial 3 weeks, and the use of a company tool kit.
