Roofer Role Summary

A skilled Roofer is required to work on various roofing projects including repair replacement maintenance installation and restoration of different roofing materials.

This role requires the ability to read and interpret plans while applying waterproofing membranes. It also involves working safely at heights and adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Repairing replacing maintaining installing and restoring roofing materials tile/shingle metal Colourbond fibreglass tar
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Applying waterproofing membranes
• Cementing ridge capping and installing pointing to ridge capping
• Erecting scaffolds and roof rails
• Installing and cementing verge tiles to roofs
• Installing flashings to roof penetrations
• Working safely at heights

• Demonstrated knowledge of roofing tools equipment materials and application techniques
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise work completing tasks within set timelines
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations
