Job Title: Customer Service Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled ICT Support Technician to join our team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support, education, and guidance in deploying and maintaining clients' computer infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance: Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware issues.
  • Clients Support: Support clients with Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues with minimal disruption.
  • Software and Hardware Requirements: Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions.
  • System Problem Resolution: Diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows.
  • PLM System Infrastructure: Install, download, and configure PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations.
  • User Training: Develop and conduct user training sessions and create technical documentation, such as procedural and operational guides.
  • Complex Technical Issues: Liaise with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum of 2 years) in PLM software support, particularly with Siemens Teamcenter and CAD software like Solid Edge, NX, and Rhino.
  • Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, especially Siemens Teamcenter (including Rich Client, Active Workspace, & BMIDE).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software, including Solid Edge Portfolio, NX Portfolio, and Rhino.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM modules such as Requirement Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration.
  • Technical skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
