Program Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead the delivery of joint adversarial training and testing services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring compliance and delivery requirements are met, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to deliver outcomes in accordance with agreed plans and baselines.
  • Capture growth opportunities to further develop global capabilities in threat representation.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members to achieve growth and development goals.
  • Promote a safety-conscious culture emphasizing hazard identification, reporting, continuous improvement, and learning.

Day-to-day, you will provide program management support across multiple contracts, ensuring compliance and delivery requirements are met. You will also identify opportunities for development within the contracts and liaise across the business to collaborate and implement resolutions to address complex problems and issues.

Requirements:
  • Significant knowledge of defence contracts and experience managing complex defence projects.
  • Negotiation experience: commercial, projects, and services delivery with customers and suppliers.
  • Tertiary qualification/s in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or other relevant discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Demonstrated influencing skills and experience liaising across multidisciplinary organisations.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Registered Project Manager (Reg PM) and certification as a CPPP through the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).
  • Security clearance.
