WPI and Medical Disputes Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to manage CTP medical disputes. This role involves evaluating causation, threshold injury, and Whole Person Impairment (WPI) in accordance with legislation, regulations, and internal KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing internal and external medical disputes.
  • Assess and evaluate individual and organisational development needs.
  • Deliver training programs and provide guidance on WPI assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify expectations and allocate resources effectively.
  • Negotiate terms with external providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a WPI and Medical Disputes Specialist. We are looking for a professional with strong medical knowledge, particularly in assessing WPI in accordance with AMA 4 and the Psychiatric Impairment Rating Scale (PIRS). Experience in managing internal and external medical disputes is highly desirable.

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, working within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Sound medical knowledge and training in assessing WPI.
  • Experience in drafting applications, replies, and submissions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
