In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing ubank's suite of applications, ensuring they meet organisational needs and drive operational efficiency.

About us: ubank empowers the digital generation to succeed with money, providing a daily companion for customers to manage finances and achieve real momentum.

Your responsibilities as Production Support include:

  • Collaborative Support: Work with IT and business units to ensure applications meet operational requirements and support business objectives.
  • Process Optimisation: Enhance processes and adhere to best practices in maintenance, support, and deployment of applications, aiming for service excellence.
  • Application Maintenance: Provide essential support and maintenance for applications, including routine updates and patch applications to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • System Environment Optimisation: Recommend optimisations for application environments to improve performance and reliability based on observed trends and issues.
  • Third-Party Liaison: Support interactions with third-party vendors and solution providers to ensure integrated services work seamlessly and meet performance standards.
  • Support Recovery and Continuity Efforts: Aid in developing and implementing recovery and business continuity plans to reduce downtime and ensure quick service restoration in case of disasters.
  • Risk Identification and Compliance Support: Assist in identifying operational risks and ensuring applications compliance with relevant standards and regulations to protect business operations.

What we need:

  • Banking and Financial Services experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, Genesys Cloud, HCM, or Banking Systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and software development life cycles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the financial industry.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL 4, COBIT, or CISM) preferred.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack, and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
