Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Energy & Resources Account Executive.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires navigating complex sales cycles, leveraging internal resources, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate a geographic territory focused on the Energy & Resources industry
  • Leverage internal resources within the larger sales organization
  • Work cross-functionally with the Customer Success (Professional Services) team and externally across customer and partner ecosystems
  • Develop strong relationships within the industries, including with key partners
  • Align customer goals and KPIs to the Appian value proposition
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to position against competitors
  • Operate with urgency, diligence, and determination within a collaborative and supportive environment

Requirements:

  • 10 - 15+ years of direct selling experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Energy & Resources experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
  • History of consistent quota achievement
  • Examples of landing relevant new customer logos
  • Strong industry network within customer and partner base
  • Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory
