Clinical Injury Rehabilitation Specialist

As a skilled clinician, you will play a vital role in supporting ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries. This unique opportunity allows you to apply your clinical reasoning skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who serve our country.
The role involves taking a holistic approach to care, working within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals on their journey from rehabilitation to healing. You will perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including the individual who has suffered injury, illness or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
- Work closely with a dedicated team to ensure seamless service delivery, prioritizing the needs of clients and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
Australian Citizenship
Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate and occupational rehabilitation experience highly regarded
