Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met with a personalized touch.
  • Ensure Ambassadors are competent in all service procedures, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
  • Work cohesively as a team member, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist with the training and development of Ambassadors, maintaining a detailed training log to track progress.
  • Coach and inspire the team, leading by example and demonstrating the 'Passion for Excellence' through serving guests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Serve items with flair and professionalism, adhering to standards set by the Manager.
  • Report any discrepancies in stock control, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, maintaining product knowledge of all menus and wine lists to advise and recommend to guests.
  • Maximize sales through upselling opportunities, utilizing every chance to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining Sofitel Brand Standards, upholding the highest standards of luxury service.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Experience within a similar supervisory role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Previous Cocktail/Bar experience, with good wine knowledge, mixology, and barista expertise.
  • A friendly, guest-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional and memorable moments.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation, reflecting the luxury standards of Sofitel.
  • Must hold your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
