Job Overview

This role involves supporting data centre projects in Sydney, with a focus on post-contract activities as an Associate / Senior Cost Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cost estimation, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering, progress claims, variation assessments, and final account close-out. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior cost management support across all project aspects, including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering, and evaluation.
  • Estimate and plan costs, producing and presenting the final cost plan report.
  • Measure building elements for cost planning purposes.
  • Engage with the market to obtain quotations and pricing to support cost estimates.
  • Manage progress claims and variation assessments and valuations.

Requirements

  • A Quantity Surveying or related degree.
  • 5-7 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Membership with AIQS or RICS or currently on the pathway to membership.
  • Experience with CostX is preferred.
  • Data Centre experience is ideal but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
