Job Title: Practice Lead

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to guide and mentor a team of risk engineers in delivering industry-leading risk management services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with underwriters to provide customer-focused risk management guidance and drive effective risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of risk engineers to develop and execute functional strategy, business plans, and objectives that align with divisional goals.
  • Deliver property risk management services to support underwriting processes and collaborate with product, distribution, and broker partners to align QBE risk engineering with business and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute risk management strategies, including advising on loss prevention and risk improvement initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure optimal performance and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven professional experience providing insurance property risk management services.
  • Demonstrated experience in property risk management, including advising on loss prevention and risk improvement strategies.
  • Proven technical leadership experience in managing risk management services.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to ensure optimal performance and engagement.
