Business Development Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and championing relationships with key partners in the ANZ mining industry and related industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate and champion relationships with key partners in the ANZ mining industry and related industries.
- Collaborate with existing clients to understand their needs, provide customized solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing our capabilities and value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical authorities and project managers, to ensure flawless execution of client projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall corporate objectives.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms and mutual benefit.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
- Establish and supervise key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of development activities and achievements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in business development within the Mining industries highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Validated ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
